Fixed Price Contract done. Client didn't pay

Had this client who wanted 120 records verified by the 17th. Then he emailed me and ask that I finish it in 2 days, so I did.  Since thn, it has now been 14 days and the client has gone completely dark and of the $400 that he was meant to pay for the job, he only funded $100, and of that I will see only $80!

Since I have already waited 14 days since I sent the full database of verified records, how longer do I need to wait until that amount is released?

Hi Anna,

If no actions are taken after 14 days the funds from Escrow are released to you. Please do not take any actions or resubmit your work as this will reset the count.

Please keep in mind that our fixed price protection does not cover promised funds or unfunded milestones, to learn more about this check out this Help Article. If you have any additional questions let me know, thank you.

It has now been 14 days and still funds in Escrow are not released. Does that mean that it is  actually 15 days until they are released?

Hi Anna,

Please be patient for a couple of more hours and the funds will be released towards you if no actions are taken. Thank you.

Did you use the formal Submit Work for Payment Button to request payment? That button begins the 14-day countdown. If you Resubmit the work after you've begun the countdown, you will begin the count at 14 days again.[311c831cd68dda48d81a64249afd976f]_Image%202018-09-26%20at%209.47.26%20AM.png

According to your profile, you are a two-person team named Chris and Grace, who created their UW profile by merging two accounts from oDesk and eLance. In that case, you should know (1) how the payment process works, and (2) that it's folly to deliver 100% of a project when only 25% has been funded.
