Why when trying to promote a Video Service - no facility to     provide a link   or upload  a video sample for customers to see before they buy

Hi Tony,

Are you referring to Portfolio items? If so, then you should be able to promote your video service by using the Gallery template which allows you to exhibit your work with a description underneath a carousel of images and videos. You’ll be able to add images and videos (.jpg, .gif, .png, and Youtube/Vimeo links).
