Form W-8BEN_Taxes Netherlands

Hello,
I have a question regarding taxes on my earnings. I am resident and I pay taxes in the Netherlands. I do not have a VAT number. Can I still claim my earnings as long as I report them in my tax statement at the end of the year or a VAT number is mandatory?

In case it is not mandatory to have a VAT number, how should I fill the W-8BEN form?
Specifically, what should I write under "Legal name of Business"? Just my name?

Thank you for clarifying,
Davide

Hi Davide,

1) I would recommend reaching out to a local tax specialist that can advise you further about this.

2) We won't charge VAT if a freelancer or agency has a valid VAT number. Freelancers and agencies with VAT numbers can add them by visiting the Accounts menu > Settings > Tax Information.

Regarding your W-8BEN form, yes you can add your full legal name as well. Thank you.
