Freelance Ended Contract...I'm out Money... no heads up at all.

Hey, I recently hired my first developer on Odesk. He end the contract and now I have nothing. Everything was going well, no heads up or even hint we weren't on pace. What should I do? I'm out the down payment and have nothing to show for it. What are my options with Odesk? Really was excited about Odesk but now I'm not so sure...Please help me feel better about this. Thanks

Contact Customer support and tell them what happened and give him a 1 star feedback. Maybe that will inspire him to refund your money to get rid of the bad rating. Best wishes.

I just ended a contract myself (as a freelancer) and I was required to give a reason. Did oDesk tell you why the freelancer ended it?
