I am very frustrated by Upworks review policy. Personally, I don't feel like I should have to ask the freelancer permission to add to my original review. I hired a freelancer to help with SEO on a website I am working on. The work they did was good, they completed the job and I had no complaints. But I have recently found out, they contacted my client directly, without my permission or knowing about it and started working directly with them on SEO. They then told them that to be more effective with their work they needed to take over the website, move it their platform. Basically trying to **Edited for Community Guidelines**me out my client whom I have worked with for 5 years. Lucky for me, the client likes me and has no intention of losing me for his website and told me about this. It seems amazing to me this type of behavior is acceptable on this platform.

So, so, so sorry. The reality is that there is all sort of freelancers and clients, but that one is certainly a scumbag.
You can not change your review, but I think you can ask CS to remove it.
IMP no only he tried to circumvent you, by stealing your client (someone might think he met that client outside Upwork) he tried (or successfully did) to circumvent Upwork as well, by removing your client from the equation you are removed too.
Upwork does not joke about this kind of situation, so rest assure, actions will be taken against this freelancer.
