Friend joining

I invited my friend to join Upwork. However, we live in the same house and we share the wifi. I'm afraid that'd interfere with my account. Can I do anything about that?

It doesn't matter.

Upwork is not the "IP police".

You may trigger some backend algorithms that ask for someone on Upwork's end to check into the matter. But if they look at the activity of the people who share the same wifi and see that they are genuinely different people, then nothing bad will happen. In all likelihood, you'll never hear anything about this.
