Funds not showing up in PayPal...again

Any update regarding this issue? @Avery Could you at least give us an ETA on when the issue will be resolved? Would you please contact your engineering/tech team?

What does that mean? When is soon? This is VERY POOR SUPPORT. You took your fees asap but don't give me my money in the same way? That is just wrong.

Hello Petra and Valeria,

 

I am having a similar Paypal withdrawal problem here. 

Upwork has sent Payment Confirmation  to my email address, my Upwork balance is already zero, but after an hour I haven't received the fund in my Paypal account.

Usually it took only a minute after withdrawal from Upwork.

 

May I know what the problem is and how to solve it?

There is a known issue with PayPal withdrawals right now.

 

They are aware of it, it is being worked on, stay calm and wait until it is sorted!

Petra,

 

I am appalled by your cavalier attitude. People depend on these funds and we should be able to get them on time. This would not be the first time an upwork issue was blamed on another company. I would hope that a community guru would have more tact and not be so crass.

 Is there any reason for you to be so mad at your fellow freelancers for stating their opinion? It's "a bit" inconvenient for them (and for me personally since my wife withdraw an amount an hour ago and it still doesn't show up) since I don't assume anyone withdraws just for the pure pleasure of it and they need the cash. What exactly gives you the right to answer them in this yelling tone (Caps Lock) as if they are asking you personally to give them money?

 It is NOT a similar problem.

 

There is a known issue with PayPal transactions at the moment, it is being worked on, just wait - nothing anyone can do until it is fixed, no point trying to contact support as they are aware already.
