Amigos!
This imposter syndrome is really messing up with me. Like is my mind with me or against me😭.
Help me instead of having a problem with me.
I know I can do the work. But when it comes to bidding my mind is like "hmmmmm, can you...?" .
So I have a mindset that is very very very very very counter intuitive(in my opinion) and negative. But it works for me. So it might work for you also.
The Mindset = "Just do it, doesn't matter, DESTROY client's business, but just work with someone🤣".
BUT LISTEN!
That's not all, if I get a job then I'll remove this mindset, instead my whole focus now is "how am i going to get my client greatest results as much as I could with my ability".
Adios✌️
By the way, do you guys have some kind of tricks to tackle this feeling. If yes, SHARE WITH ME plz. (Doesn't matter if it's funny or something).

That’s really a great tactic😂 Raheel, I myself have wasted like 1-2 months because of imposter syndrome, but I forced myself (which is not the best way to tackle it, I think). But the great thing is I surpassed it, I might use this or recommend it to someone else if I met someone with imposter syndrome👍.

No, I'm saying like if a person has the ability but is just scared to start(to take the first step). Then you can use this.
Imposter syndrome like self-doubt in skills or something.

You said destroy the client business as long as you have work. This is on the contrary with professionals who are not afraid to say "I'm not a good fit for that".
It's okay though. As I said, it's just the way it is here. In fact there are many 'high-profile' freelancers who are mostly doing what you mentioned but they also have the knowledge and experience to keep their profiles sparkling.
See here it's quite new, about how a 'second highest quote' freelancer sounds so suspicious to a client who happens to be quite careful in selecting (good for them) although lacking the skills to sense copy-pasted AI answers.

That thread is an awesome read and a good glimpse into people who complain about not winning anything. They replied to a thread where a client is complaining about ChatGPT proposals with ChatGPT garbage. lol These people are so dense but look at their histories and they complain about not winning jobs and the cost of connects.

Sometimes people label imposter syndrome to their little conscience telling them they are frauds and should probs find something else legit to do.
