Jeffrey: Lots of Canadians have U.S. bank accounts.
If you get such an account, then obviously you will be able to withdraw your pay directly in U.S. funds, and you can do so with zero fees.

Only via wire transfer, It costs $ 30 and is only worth it for transfers over $ 700 - 800 US Dollars at a time.

ACH transfers do not work with the kind of account the OP is referring to.
Fees do indeed apply.
The OP isn't referring to a U.S. bank account, but to a USD-denominated bank account in Canada.

Abinadab: I understand.
But I wsn't telling him to use his current bank account. I was recommending that he go get a regular U.S. bank account.
