Getting a Payoneer Card

Hi peeps.

I have a question that's most likely answered but I guess I suck at exploring the vast online universe.

Anyhow, I just linked my Payoneer and Upwork account and on Upwork I got a message my Payoneer card will soon be shipped and I'll get an email from Payoneer. 

I'm a bit confused now as I thought I have to order the card from Payoneer's website. 

Long story short, do I automatically get a Payoneer card when I link the accounts or do I have to order from Payoneer?

Hi Antonio,

I believe you have to request the card manually. Please check on your account with Payoneer to see if the card has been requested for you. By logging into your Payoneer account, you should be able to verify whether you still need to request the card or if it is already on the way.

Tnx, hopefully someone can confirm if it's one way or the other.

But I think so too, although the initial option would be highly convenient (and I'd be highly impressed). I'll wait a few more days since I have to wait 3 days for Upwork to verify the new payment method anyway.

In complete honesty, I'm behaving like an impatient kid that can't wait for a new toy to arrive.  A plastic card, how low have I fell

Hi Antonio,

Please check with Payoneer directly regarding the status of your card. Historically, you've had to request the card through Payoneer and it was not sent automatically.

I would suggest contacting our customer care team just to be on safe side- in specific cases it could be that a card will be shipped automatically (for reason like location, for example). Either way, I hope you enjoy using Payoneer as your Upwork payout method 🙂

Hi guys I just open acc. but have same problem I don't know if it was automatically applied for card coz I received same mail.
Also when I opened my email there is option to apply and it says when I recieve $30 I can apply for card 🙉

When I link my payoneer account with upwork,a pop up comes on upwork
payment page says congratulations for your payoneer payment card,you should
receive an email when your card ships in few days.
Now i am in tension that payoneer will ship my card without my order
request and i have to pay annual charges of card.
I do not need card and i want to send my money to payoneer account not to
card,and from payoneer account to jazz cash.
Kindly help me I do not need any card of payoneer.

BUT: the question to Upwork: Why do YOU display this message in you interface? If you know nothing about the logic on Payoneer side, why are you displaying that the card will arrive? Where do you get this message?

I've have the same issues here i had a message that tells me I need to have 100 dollars to my accounts to order the card and I have another issues with payoneer my documents have know one year and they are on still checking status and I think that is a bit too long for an a document verification
