Hi Ayush, you only get connects back if the job is closed by Upwork because it violates the TOS or if the client proactively closes the job without a hire. Connects are charged for you to apply for a job, it's not based on client hiring. It's best to consider this a cost of doing business and factor it into your business expenses.
