Getting paid taking longer than usual

Hi, I don't know why but I didn't get paid for 12 hours now. The last payment I made took less than 2 hours. I was thinking because it is the weekend that is why it is taking longer but I want to know how long it will take, please. Thank you.

It may depend on your withdrawal method. I tend to use paypal and so far it has ALWAYS been instant, prior to using paypal I was withdrawing to a UK bank and that seemed to take anywhere from 4-7 days. 

As you point out I would think it's likely that not being a 'business day' could be slowing down your usual time a bit.

Those are not processed at weekends.

In general they take 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and in the most unlikely case the funds have not appeared in 8 business days, you can ask Upwork to initiate a trace.

Hello petra,

I requested a payment withdrawal yesterday, 9th November 2019, but it has still not reflected in my local bank account. I also noticed that you said they don't get processed until during the weekdays. This is not the first time that I have made withdrawals during the weekend and my account has always been credited in at least 30 to 40 minutes.
