Getting paid

Hello.
I apologize writing to you as I already found the specific thread in the Help Center regarding my question but I wanted to make sure that I have understood it correctly.
I was wondering in the 5-day security period that has to pass in order to receive payments in my Upwork account is every time or if there are times that that time does not have to pass and my funds will be available sooner.

Silviya, as I understand it, Upwork will occasionally shorten the security period as an experimental feature, but I've never experienced this myself in 299 jobs, so it's best to assume the security period will be 5 days

We're still looking at all the options for shortening the security period but at this time it's highly likely all of your transactions will be subjected to the security hold.
