Government issued ID card

I am 17 years old now. I got my 1st contract within my first week of opening my Upwork account.

After starting the contract Upwork required me an ID verification which I don't have right now. But I have government-issued academic certificates & a birth certificate.

It says if I don't verify I'll not be able to accept any job or send proposals & can not withdraw my balance after the deadline.

I came to know that Upwork  allow only 18+ years olds.

My question is,

Can I make a deal with Upwork if they can allow me only to send proposals & accept jobs? No need to withdraw money, no need for a verification badge until I got my ID card?

You are not allowed to work on Upwork until you are 18

No, you can't. You need to close your account and come back when you are 18.

Pretty sure you have to confirm that you are at least 18 years old when you signed up. That didn't give you pause?

Wait until you are 18.
