Groups Deleted

I notice that some groups are being deleted. Just curious, why would they be deleted? People do want to follow the rules, but to delete groups with no explaination?

Hi Susan,

Are you referring to groups, like country groups, for example, being labeled as "closed"? If so, I'd like to clarify that it simply means that those groups are invite-only or members need to request to join and meet certain criteria (like being located in a specific country). Note that those groups are still very much active.
