Hey guys I've just been locked out of Upwork for some days. The dialogue box on my phone app said I'd been trying to log in too many times, but that wasn't true. I'm guessing its either a bug or someone has been trying to hack my account. Anyone else come across this? I Googled it and found a number of other instances of hacks/lock-outs/stolen money. It seems to be an issue.
I'll confirm that if a user fails to log in after a number of attempts in a short time period, their account will be blocked as a security measure. You can confirm this is the case if your accounts is unblocked after you login on our website, not through the mobile app.
