Half Payment affect on JSS

Hello Everyone, 

My client and I decided to work on a project and time was really short. I started to work and project was almost done but he decided to finish at the time and wants me to pay half or less and he does not know how to do that as there is no edit option at his side. My project is fixed budget and payment is 150 for complete project. How can he do that?  He agrees to give 5 Star rating

Also, what is the safest way to do so for keeping JSS harmless? Please help
