Has anybody experiencing sudden loss of offers?

I've been working here since 2011 and always pretty confident about getting jobs all the time. For years, I've always been occupied until the last week of December.

I have 100% JSS. It's the first time I've used up all my Connects to find a job. Now, it has only been the 6th day of January, and I only have 28 Connects left and still no job offers. This hasn't happened to me before Smiley Sad

Now, I'm so anxious. Is anyone experiencing this? Maybe there is some sort of bug in the system? Is it because of bigger competitions?

yes, it seems something wrong is here, I am a top rated with 100% job success, and I didn't get even a reply on my proposals, and I don't know why.

a friend of mine also from Egypt, he moved to Belgium and he told me the country is affecting too much.

and he changed his address he becomes getting more jobs.

i seriously fail to understood why the client is not allowed to pick/interview who is most suitable for the job....recommending few is not the way and if the proposals are getting archived automatically it is totally unfair...

They are not archived automatically. It seems that when an Upwork's Talent Specialist is involved by the client, they can archive proposals they don't see as being a good fit.

I don't think you can. Unless you were invited by a Talent Specialist.

I think the 3 limit invite really put a wrench in my well oiled Upwork machine, but I'm waiting until Feb to judge. Also testing a new rate, so I get to mess around with two unknowns.
