Has anyone notice an upsurge in job that are asking to give payment outside of upwork

In recent weeks i have notice an upsurge in jobs that breach the terms and conditions of Upwork. They have either added phone number, whatsapp number or telegram to communicate outside of upwork.

These jobs are shady to say the lest and drown out legitmate jobs. What is being done about this? I counted atleast 5 in my job search this morning so far.

The WhatsApp, phone number and telegram job listings are spam. This is an issue that Upwork has yet to address. Do not apply to any jobs that include contact information in the job description.

One of the "Flag as Inappropriate" options is "Contains Contact Information", meaning it is against Upwork ToS
