The Purple Cow is the unofficial mascot of the Williams College sports teams. (Better than the official name of the teams, which is the "Ephs," short for "Ephraims," after the college's founder, Ephraim Williams. Not quite like Princeton's Tigers or Columbia's Lions, eh?)
