Haven't Received "Your Payment Has Been Processed" Email Confirmation Yet (11/02/23)

Made my withdrawal as I usually do on Friday. Typically, between 20 and 45 minutes after making a withdrawal, you'll receive a message that the payment request has been processed. That hasn't happened yet and it's been nearly 3 hours so that's unusual. It's the first time I've experienced this since the Friday payouts for Freelancers were processed at 12MN GMT.

I've seen others report the same issue. I've sent a ticket to Upwork support but haven't yet received a response.

Thank you for your patience while we process your payment. I have looked into the status of your withdrawal and I can assure you that it is on its way.

 

Some of the users who reported this issue have already received an email confirmation from us. If you haven't, it could be because of our payment partner verifying the transaction. Please rest assured that your withdrawal is in progress and you will receive it soon.

I am having the same issue and this is the first time in my 12 years working in Upwork.

I got a response from their support team but basically, their support guys were basically saying "just wait for it." Not sure why I even bothered. It was a canned response and not at all helpful. 

same issue here. usually they resolve this after 12 hours, or until the tech team have acknowledged something was wrong. Support team isn't helpful at all because they don't bother to check the problem and just reply with a canned message.

I initiated withdrawl at 09:15 AM IST on 03-Nov-2023.

It's 04:30PM IST and I have still not received any mail.

Please confirm what is the issue.

Aren't payment withdrawals being processed today? I requested for a payment at approximately 0130 hours UTC but I haven't gotten a notification yet that it has been processed. Usually the processed notification comes through within 4-5 hours of the withdrawal request being placed. Just wanted to know if there is a problem with payments processing today. TIA.

I am facing same issue today, I already requested payment from upwork and normally it takes 2 to 3 hours to process the payment and get the second email that says "Payment Processed". However today it didn't go through its been more than 6 hours and still I haven't received the confirmation for the same.

 

Whats wrong here can you please check?

Hi, everyone!

Looks like Upwork is experience an issue with payments. A lot of people on this forum already reported that their payments aren't being processed since Nov 1. It looks like a mass issue, hopefully someone can look into it. 


I initiated a wire transfer on the 1st and I did more than 40 wire transfers by now and ALL of them take a day or two at most. Today is day 3rd and no money are in my bank account. 

Seems like a LOT of people are experiencing the same issue. 

Hi Upwork Suppport. I withdrew funds today from Upwork around  9AM and still I have not received the funds. Normally it takes a few minutes but it's been over 4 hours now. Please help 

Withdrawal Error

So I withdrew amount today, normally I get it within an hour but it has been more than 12 hours although I got an email saying payment is processed. 

 

Few months back samething happened, while doing the drill of checking from my bank again and again, I was informed there is no incoming payment request, after period of more than a week (do not remember exact number of days but surely more than a week) I got funds back at my Upwork and I believe I was told that the mid-agency were failed to transfer so they returned back. 

 

Question is, is there anyway to esclate this?

Yesterday at 9:30 AM IST I withdraw money from my upwork account and I got confirmation email. But I still not received email of payment proceed.

 

Usually it proceed in same business day.

 

Any idea why it is not proceed yet.

Hey @Upwork Team, Same with me. Payment not processed yet even though withdrawn before the UTC cutoff time. 

Support exec informed that they've received a lot of concerns about the same & that they're monitoring the a/c's.

What's the ETA for the resolution?

I withdrew money from my Upwork account on 1st Nov 2023 and today (6th Nov 2023) I haven't received the money.

Same here, it usually arrives the very next (business) day. But I've got 2 missing payments in the queue. Requested on 2nd and 3rd of November.

Two payments in queue is something you should be worried about, as you might end up not receiving any of it again, especially with WISE, speacking from experince you should start reaching out to both party already to know what is the cause of delay in delivery of your paymenst.

First you should check in with Upwork CS with the payment reference to know if it has been successfully processed from their end if their reply is  "YES" then you can contact wise with the same refrence id for them to help you check the status of your upcoming payments from Upwork and why you are yet to receive it, though it's also good to note that those kind of trabnsactions requires 3 - 5 business days at times but from november 1st till now is more than 3 banking days already so it calls for an alarm, so check in with them, especially wise but you need to know if the payment have been processed by Upwork first.

Exact same issue with me. I clicked on "Get Paid" on 1st Nov 2023 and today is (6th Nov 2023), I also haven't been paid yet.

I havenโ€™t received my withdrawal but my Upwork account has been debited already. I have made a withdrawal last Nov 1. It has been more than 5 days. The amount was 241.20 withdrawal made via ACH. I have tried contacting Get Support and its kind of frustrating not getting a hold of real agent replies. This is the first time this has happened, I usually receive my withdrawal on my account the following day after the withdrawal has been made.

 

 

Same with me, and all freelancers as well. I am not sure its the effect of the delay of bank America or what else.

I have the same problem. I requested a payment of $318.45 in Nov 1, 2023 from Upwork to my ACH bank and I didn't recieve the payment yet.

I am also facing same problem, I have withdrawal on 1st november its not deposited to my ACH bank account wise. 

I have typically (over the past 2 years) have been sent emails once the payment has been processed, saying it would be delivered within the next 1-2 days. However, each week the emails keep saying longer and longer. I just received an email saying "your payment has been processed" (Today is Nov 7th), and that my payment should be in my bank by the 15th - 17th????

Hi! I withdrew my funds on November 1 from upwork to wise and funds hasn't reach my wise. What do I need to do?

I need to discuss my account with support, but I cannot find a way to reach a human or submit a ticket.

Basically, you can forget about it. There's no way to contact any support and the suggestion to "post your problem in the forum" doesn't seem to work. I've already waited a week for a response and nothing. Upwork doesn't care apparently.

It normaly takes 2 business days to be available in my ACH BANK
