Help needed regarding IBAN

UPwork is not accepting my IBAN. I got this IBAN from my bank. Please help!!!

Hi Talaat,

Please, make sure information you display on your profile is complete and truthful including your name. Please, go to your Settings> Contact Info and add your full name. You can then chose to only show first name and last name initial publicly in your Profile Settings.

Then you should be able to add a bank account making sure names on your Upwork Profile and your bank account match.

Hello,

I am also having an issue with Upwork not accepting my IBAN. My contact info under my Settings profile is correct. The issue is that the minute I enter the fist two letter of my IBAN which is my country code BG the form errors out. I contacted my bank and they verified that I am using the correct IBAN. Please help!

Can you please make sure to add the number without any spaces in front of the IBAN code? Let me know if you keep seeing the error message afterwards.

Actually I've come up with the same problem.
When you click and drag your IBAN number, usually it comes with spaces every four letters. The reason Up work isn't accepting the IBAN is because of those spaces. Erase them and all will be back to normal.

Thanks! Yes, it was the same for me, but with hyphens. Only letters and numbers should remain after you copy your IBAN number.

I get this mesage when trying to setup payment info:

Invalid IBAN Number. IBAN is different than account number and may vary by country

I need help with it.

I tried removing the spaces too but still having issue.
