Help with contract hours

So I signed a contract for a project-based job last month, with the understanding this will take 15 hours long.

By my second day, I already knew it will take significantly more time to complete what needs to be done by doing a scoping exercise so I notified the client. They acknowledged the underestimation, and agreed that I bill them with the actual hours completed. I am almost done with the project, and the actual time is roughly 5 times more than what was initially agreed on.

1) Will I get paid correctly if the contract states 5 hours / week but the actual time to get this done is roughly 25 hours / week, or will Upwork follow the cap in the contract?

2) Do I tell the client to modify the contract instead?

Hi Martin, as stated in this article: https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211068258-Contract-Weekly-Limit#:~:text=Only%20hours%20.... hours over the limit are not billed, so you either need to tell your client to increase your weekly limit or for them to issue a bonus payment.
