I need Help urgently there is a client on Upwork who just sent me $2000 and ask me to buy something for him can I do it or not? Did Upwork allow it? He is new to Upwork.

No this is not allowed.

Also this is a scam. Report this client and do not refund any money if the client ask you to do this. The money will automatically be refunded, as most likely a stolen credit card was used.

The client hasn't really sent you $2000, it only looks like it. That will be reversed shortly and you will have lost whatever the client (didn't) "pay" you to buy.

What is it? Crypto? In-Game currency?

He isn't new to upwork. He just never hired anybody, or creates dozens of new client accounts a day, who knows. 

You don't need help, you need to read the ToS and the tips how to recognize a scam. That way you will recognize them by yourself and not waste your time or risk your profile.
