Hiring on upwork

I have a client outsite of upwork and we work. But as now I am move to upwork so I want that client to work with me on this platform. I asked him that he have an upwork account and he said yes. Now my question is that how he can find or access my profile to start a contract with me? Can I send the him the link of my profile (Is that against the guidlines or not)?

Please help me out.

You can simply share your profile URL with your client, since they already have an account on Upwork they can click on the green button on their end and they will be able to send you an offer. Thank you.
