Hourly Contract - Not tracking well

Hi 
Have anyone had issues with tracking in hourly contracts? 
I work on music production and  even if I play the piano, there is NO WAY that I don't have at least a single keystroke or only 2 mouse clicks in 10 minutes..Something is just not tracking well..and I look like a stupid not working..But the work could also be seen from the screenshoots.. 
   Do you guys have some advices?

Asked before. Upwork agent answered that you need to clicking like monkey. If won't then you aren't working.

Hi Lucian,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. You're correct! The app logs your activity level by counting the number of mouse clicks, scroll actions, and keystrokes you make as well as receiving information from your operating system about whether you are active or not (useful for less “countable” activities). 

 

Each screenshot uploaded to your Work Diary, one every 10 minutes, is displayed with a green bar underneath. The green bar includes 10 boxes, one for each minute of the 10-minute period. If the Upwork desktop app catches at least one of the above-mentioned activities in a given minute, it will color the box green for that minute. You may want to check this help article to learn more about how to effectively Log Time with Time Tracker.

 

If you are unable to log time on an hourly contract listed in the app, please close the app and log in to your Upwork account from your internet browser. Then, clear your cookies by going here and restarting the app. You may also want to check this help article for known fixes with the application. Please let us know if you still need further assistance.

I got sometimes my hours refunded because I was tracking a phone call on skype with the client...

The tracker is useless unless you do work with the mouse and keyboard. Because of this, I'd recommend talking to the client to enable manual time and you could manually enter the time you worked, or do fixed prices.
