Hourly based payment method

Hi? I am new to upwork. I worked on hourly based on a project. And i also been dlexibility enabled so that i can get the money with out screen recording. Now, how to get the payment for spent hours ?? I would be very grateful if someone explain to me step by step. Thanks and advance.

Have you tracked your hours? Or at least logged them manually (no protection)

I accepted the job and start working on the job. I asked my client for
money and he told me that i would be able to get the money for spent hours
just by telling the details of spent of hours.

That's not how it works...

Can you see the contract on your "My Jobs Page?"

If not, you're not even hired. If yes, you need to log your time.

Hi Naser,

When you`re hired on an hourly contract you will need to track your time with our desktop app. Your clients will be billed every Monday for the time worked in the previous week. Please keep in mind that manual time is not protected under our Upwork Hourly Protection. If you have any additional questions let me know, thank you.
