I have been working with a new hourly contractor. We have an informal agreement to check hours for each task before proceeding. At the end of last week the contractor worked many more hours than expected on a particular task. We have agreed that it would be fair for the contractor to edit the hours, but now the weekly cycle has ended so the contractor can no longer edit. What is the best course forward here? Is there really no way to edit hours from 2 days ago now that the week is over?
