Hourly job: Payment after client account got suspended

Hi

I worked for a client on an hourly job and logged a few hours before his account got suspended. 

oDesk says that "For hourly contracts, you will receive payment for any hours logged prior to the account suspension. "

However, I can't seem to find the amount anywhere in the reports section. When will the payment be released??

This happened to me before and I still got paid. Not sure where you are looking at the reports section but it should show under the In-Progress part if the account got suspended this week.

If it was last week, the money should be in the In-Review section. To see how much you made for that job, check the contract via the My Jobs tab.

You'll see how many hours you worked and how much you are expecting to receive provided you tracked time using the tracker and made sure you entered valid memos.

To know more when your money will be released, see your transaction history (to see which monies are pending and when they will be withdrawable. For houry jobs, the payment will be released 10 days after the specific work week.

So if you worked Nov 17-23, the money will be in review til Next Friday, November 28. After which it will go to the standard 5 days holding period and will be available for withdrawal on the following Wednesday, December 3.
