Hourly project got suspended the day I should have been paid

I worked about 3 hours on an hourly project and the day I should get paid I received an email that the project got suspended

The client said that the money was taken from his bank account but his account is suspended 

will I get my money?

Upwork has Payment Protection for freelancers.

This means that as long as you worked correctly and your hours qualify, you WILL receive your money. Even if the contract is suspended. Even if Upwork does not get its money from the client.

Upwork will pay you for your hours from its own pocket.
