How Can I change Language Proficiency?

Greetings Upwork-ers

I keep getting a message that I don't have  native English proficiency which is annoying because I am a native speaker! I'm losing out on good projects that have this requirement which is frustrating. I can't find a way to email support and the steps listed in the tutorial aren't making sense as  the links they refer to don't exist--thinking this tutorial was done before some interface changes.

Does anyone  know how I can correct this so my profle shows native English?

Much thanks!

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Go to Find Work> Profile and then hover your mouse over "Languages" on the right. You will see a pencil icon, click on it and you will be able to change your level of English.

Hi Valeria,

I've followed the steps you've provided, but there's no "Language" option. What I can only see are the Hourly Rate, Portfolio, Skills, Certifications, Tests, Employment History, Education, Other Experiences.

Hi Adah Jachin,

Are you able to see this section on your profile?

Hi Kathleen,

When following going to the language section of your profile as shown in Avery's screenshot, you do have to hover the mouse over the section in order for the pencil to appear so that you can edit your language proficiency.

language.JPGThere is a Language section yet even if I had my mouse hovered over it, nothing happens - no pencil or whatsoever.
