How Can I refund payment back to my client

Hello,

How Can I refund payment back to my client for two invoices. One invoice payment  I withdraw and another one is showing in progress. When I issue refud it does nothing. Do I need to add funds to my wallet to issue refund or i can refund using credit card attached to my paymet profile? Please Help.
