How are time zones validated?

I am new to the platform and ran across an issue, I apologize if it has already been asked and I missed it in my forum searches.

 

I am located in ther Central time zone and have it selected on my profile:

I job that I am interested in shows the following warning:

Time Zone Error.PNG

 

Why am I seeing the warning?  Will I be archived if I do apply for the job since the platform does not think I am in the appropriate time zone?

It's a bug.  Ignore it 🙂

Hi Scott,

 

I see that you set your time zone correctly. Could you please send me a PM of the job posting where you are getting that warning? I'd like to look into this further.

I can also confirm that your proposals won't be automatically archived because of it and the client will be able to view them.
