How can I arrange my previous employment history in the order I want?

My resume for previous employment is not in chrological order. I want to have the most recent three to appear on top. My 25+ years of freelance experience shows second to bottom, in the "more" section.

Raymond,

It's really not necessary to list every single job you've ever had. The important part of your profile is your written overview at the top, and of course, your portfolio. Very few clients (if any) are interested in your employment history, especially anything that goes way back. It's not necessary.

Also be aware that it is against Upwork's terms of service to include links to personal websites, if there it a way to contact you via the website. Ditto the sales pitch for merchandise. This is a no-no.

ETA: Just a suggestion, but it's best that your overview talks more about what you can offer to clients, rather than reading like a bio/what you like to do.

Hi Raymond, it is in (reverse) chronological order, but by start date and not end date. I'm not sure if there is a way to change this. The only suggestion I have is to remove the top job if it's not relevant to what you want to do on Upwork. You could also try collapsing some or all of your art instructor jobs into one larger job that you break down in the description, though I know that's not ideal.

I have taken your suggestion, and modified the Art Instructor description. Great Idea! Thanks!

Hi Raymond,

The employment history is arranged in chronoligcal order by design. May I suggest that you include that you have been freelancing since 2009 in your profile overview instead? Generally, you only need to list the history relating to the types of projects you seek on Upwork.

Thanks for your attention to this, Avery! I've modified my profile per your suggestions, and will probably do more to it in the future-
