How can I know the name, if buyer is new?

When sending a proposal to new buyer, I can not know what is name of the buyer.

Where is I actually find it?

Kazi,

On Upwork they are called clients.  Another platform calls them buyers.  Upwork doesn't list the client's name.  If the client decides to interview you, you will see his/her name and/or the company name.

If you're wondering how to address the client, I just write: "Hi"

Hi Robin H,
Is that suitable to send poroposal without mention the client name?

I never use the name. And I get hired.

I don’t even say “hi.”

I write "Hi" to be respectful as I consider the proposal an introduction.  Of course, it's not a mandate by any means.

"Sir/Madam" is a bit too formal in the US.
