Unfortunatley Kashif, we can't help you get a job even if we give you tips on improving your profile.

But.

There's a thread about how to get your first job on Upwork, I suggest you take a look at that. 🙂

Oh, and by the way, you have had 4 jobs. That's more than some people have had!

I'm now reviving an old adage that I love and some people hate - Never put all your eggs into one basket.

re: ". then why cleint are not hiring me ?"

Kashif, this is the wrong question to ask.

The proper question is:

Why should a client hire you?

You can not answer that question, and that is why you are not getting hired.

But sir , I am providing sample of required work .  Therfore i asked .

I have done 4 jobs and got 5 srtar feedback . last one month i have no project.

If you graduated with a degree in Computer Science you should not be charging Only $3.33 a hour. You should also be looking for work that utilizes youir skills and expertise in Computer Science.  When you raise your hourly rate to fit your profession then you will attract clients who are serious about their jobs and want to hire professional contractors.

Thanks . But not intrestred in programming . therfore i am facing dificulties .

Hmmm.

Something isn't sitting right with all this...

Kashif, your profile page has completed jobs with great feedback. I think you may very well have a lot of potential as a contractor.

But your profile overview text does not tell me what I want to know as a client. It doesn't tell me what benefit I will get if I hire you.

When I read your profile, it seems to be all about you.

I don't care about you. I care about me.

Your profile should be about me.

Dont tell me your life story. Don't tell me your goals.

Tell me how my life will be better if I hire you. How will you be a benefit to my project?

Got it sir . Thanks

Do you know, I think its arrogant for others to talk negatively about someone who is trying to get work, you have no idea what his level of experience is or what skill set he has.

In reality you should be constructive in your comments or if you cant then, keep quiet.

I  actually think that this is quite a competitive environment within Upwork, and even if you have many years experience, clients are after getting their work done at the lowest rate possible, putting quality aside.

So those are my thoughts actually.

Good Luck in your further endeavours.

Shelley, I am not sure what you are referring to or who you are addressing, but I will comment briefly.

When contractors come to the Community Forum and ask for my help with their profile pages, they do so because they want to earn money on Upwork, and they know that my comments are focused purely on that goal.

My reviews of profiles are not intended to be "positive" or "negative." My comments not intended to be "sensitive" or "politically correct."

They are designed to help contractors change their profiles in a way that will earn them more money.

Sometimes the advice that Forum participants give may seem harsh or shocking, but one needs to keep in mind that this is advice from people who cumulatively have thousands of hours in Upwork experience, given to newcomers who have little or none.

Preston,

While I don't always agree with what you say, I do feel that you give advice with the best intentions.

You certainly don't come off as hostile, and sound much more sensitive than some other people who give advice!  lol.
