How can we know that someone else has earned this job

Hello.

I am newbie. I have one question in my mind. How can we know that someone else has earned this job...does interviewing mean that job is earned by some other person?

Jobs are not given, they are earned...but interviewed just means that the client sent a message to someone.  If you see Hires, then that means they hired someone for the job.
