How do I change the rating of a freelancer who work for me?

I was wondering is there any way to change the rating of a freelances work after you have rated them?

You would be able to change the rating if the freelancer granted permission. There is an option for the freelancer to reopen the public feedback that you leave, but they are not required to do so.

Hi Nevzat,

 

Yes, it's possible. To change the feedback you left for your freelancer, they will need to enable that option on their end. Please see this Help article for detailed instructions on how to do it.

Although you can change the public feedback and rating (if the contractor enables this function from their end), you will not be able to change your private feedback.

I went to the link but I can't find the "Enable client to change feedback" link anywhere.

 

Can you please advise if this feature is still a part of Upwork or not?

Hi Shahrukh,

 

Yes this feature is still available for bot clients and freelancers. The steps are the same as in the Help Article that Vladimir shared. But please keep in mind that this feature can used only once. If you have already used it you won't be able to enable your client to change their feedback again. If you have any additional questions let me know. Thank you.

How long ago did the contract close?

 

If it's the contract from last year, it's likely too late.

It's also unneccessary because hardly any client will scroll that far back.
