How do we pay taxes with Upwork

I am work from other platforms and am new to Upwork. How do taxes work and will some of that change with the new Biden laws?  Thank you, I need the answer ASAP.

My best advice is to purchase a subscription to Intuit/ Turbo Tax for Self-Employed.  It's really valuable with tax stuff and the purchase is a business expense.
