How do you handle multiple clients?

I'm a mother of twins and currently working full time. I'm thinking of getting another job. I would like to hear from someone on what it's like working for multiple clients. How do you handle stress and manage your time?

You have to figure this out for yourself, you either have the time to devote to more than one client or you don't and it depends on how much time you need for each project you are working on.  It sounds like you don't really have that much extra time?

Just create a timeline for the two jobs in your calendar, work more time and keep responding for both clients also never ever do unachievable expectations.

- Honestly usually I'm hiring some of my talented freelancers friends to do the work that I'll not be able to achieve in the right time, I'm just supervising on their works .
- try to invest most of your time to get clients instead of doing routine works 😉

A wise book that I follows says: "Nobody can serve 2 lords, or will cares more about one than the other." - Soooo, serving 2 clients at same time is a problem. Just one client in a time is enough. I try not to work for 2 clients at same time, but sometimes a new client just appears before I finish the current project.

I try not to have more than one client at a time since I freelance as a side gig rather than full-time. But I have had a few projects overlap. Give yourself more time than you need on a project, know how much time each project takes you and figure out how many hours a week you have to spare to projects. And remember to turn off your gigs if you don't want more clients!

I had my work hours turned off but still had my gigs open so I had someone slip in with a 1-week turnaround project. Luckily, I'm ahead of schedule on my current project so I was able to set asaide a week for the other project. My only other projects are ones with no set due date that I'm working on for a friend.

I have 3 fixed clients with whom I have been working for years. I try to assign time blocks to each of them, they constantly write to me, so I start early with one client and I try to ignore any other request (I justtake a quick look to see if it something urgent). Then I switch to the other client and resond, and then the other. After that period where I interact with them ends, I do all the pending jobs that I have. I always ask for the deadlines and I try to get more time even just in case. In a few words, I try to have time blocks for each clients, as if I was working in several companies in one day!
