How do you insert an anchor link onto google docs?

Hi Freelancers,

The client has asked me to insert anchor link back to his website.  How the hell does one do this on google docs lol?

The same way you'd do it in Word, or here, or on a website, or pretty much anywhere else in the world....highlight the text, click the little link icon, type in or cut and paste the URL.

 Ugh. I had a writer from central Europe contact me on another site where I post a lot asking if I had any overflow work I could send him. I do use contractors from time to time on large jobs (with client consent, of course, and I review and edit every doc before it goes out). I asked him to send me samples along with a rate per 600-800 word page and he sent me back pretty good samples and a quote of $7-8/page. That's barely over a penny a word!

Hi Simran,

Once you open your Google Docs, highlight the word(s) needed, then click on the Insert a link icon, as shown in the image, and insert the link. If no words need to be highlighted, simply click on the icon and insert the proper link.
