How does the exchange rates work in Upwork?

I've already released my first Official Receipt and the price of the work is $35.00 which is 1,779.33 (₱50.838 per $1.00) in the philippines on September 29, 2021 (the day the client accepted my submission for payment). This is what I wrote on the document. Of course, since Upwork takes service fee, the price is reduced to $28.00 (₱1,423.46). If I withdraw my earnings, my income will reduce to $26.00, and it will reduce again to $25.00 (Estimation of the Paypal Transfer Fee).

Does this mean that I will receive ₱1,270.95 if I withdraw my earnings to paypal account? Or will the exchange rates take effect on the day I withdraw the payment? (In this case, my income would be at around ₱1,271.38)

Hi Christopher,

It depends on the exchange rates of your country as every day the rates are changed so your earning is based on the day you withdraw.
