My profile is currently on 'temporary hold' and in an helpdesk article odesk suggested to keep the long term contracts going and ask for account review.Well I currently have only 2 ongoing contract.One started from November 23rd,2014 and the other from December 3rd,2014.
Can these contracts be counted as long term? And usually how long does a contract need to go for it to be counted as long term?
I hope your profile will soon be reviewed and that the outcome is positive. While I have no idea how oDesk is defining "long-term", I personally think it should at least be half a year (if not more!) . Also, not only the time as such is important if you ask me. You may have an active contract for 6 months with only one payment being made. Rather than that, I would say "minimum 6 months and regular payments around the same value each".
But again, that's just my personal opinion.
