It will say two connects because I am still using free connects. But the people who are in the new "paying connect" system, how much money they need to buy connects to apply for this job? Though I would never apply this whatever the connects are free or not?

I wouldn't bother applying to an intermediate-level $1,000,000 job in the first place, so my answer is: 0 connects.
