How many days can an offer be left unexploited after a client masek a milestone offer?

How many days can an offer be left unexploited after a client makes a milestone offer? Are there any time limits?

ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hey Nasir,

It appears you are talking about an active milestone on a contract (not an offer, 2 totally different things).
If you've submitted the work for the 3rd milestone via the 'submit for payment button', then your client has 14 days to review the work. If he'd be unresponsive, then just don't pester him with messages.
On the 15th day of your submission, Upwork with auto approve the milestone. After that you can politely request/inquire the client about any other work they might have for you OR if the project is over and you think you've delivered your best, then just request him to close the contract.

I think it's about a week. When a client sends an offer Upwork tells you how long you've got to accept it or not. Check the offer. If  you have already accepted the offer, then you must do the work, or refund the client.

It was my 3rd milestone, and 7 days later still have an active one.
