Good afternoon.
Grateful for the hint.
When filling out the Portfolio, the service requires mandatory
Project URL (optional). It should be noted that the project in the portfolio is not added from the list of Upwork but from personal, previously created
Colleagues, who faced a similar and how to get out of this situation? Thank you.

Hi Nataliia,

The project url field is optional and you can skip and upload a work sample without that information.

Hello! I have the same problem. When I press the "Publish project" button above the "Project URL (optional)" field, red "Category is required" appears. There is no way to skip this point. I will be very grateful for the advice!

Mariia,

While Project URL field is optional, the Category field is required. Please select a category the portfolio items belongs to before submitting.

Hi Bharadhan,

As long as the website doesn't have your contact information, and/or a contact form, adding a website in your profile or portfolio should be okay.

The website has the contact information of the company for whom I developed
the website and not mine.

Hi Bharadhan,

I would recommend that you post screenshots of your website in your portfolio. And once an interview with a potential client is in place, you can send a link to the websites that you have created.

Yeah, but for the client to get an overview we need to provide the URL correct? Many freelancers are adding the website URL in their portfolio.
