You can't deactivate your account twice, because is already deactivated by Upwork.
Hi, I want to delete my account but I am effectively locked out of it. My profile hasn't been fully accepted but it is appearing in my Google search rankings. When I try to delete it, Upwork asks for a UK phone number but I am not currently in the UK. Chatbot is useless on this issue. Any advice please?!
Hi, I am attempting to close my account but my settings page keeps redirecting to entering account information in order to accessing closing the account (create-profile/v1/complete/). After being redirected to the phone # page, my phone number has a verfied check but I am still promted with "You failed to verify this phone number. Please provide a different number." after selecting enter my code. Trying to enter a new number in the field is not possible. Please, close my account.
my account was never even finalized, or approved to be a public account. I happened to google myself this afternoon on a whim, and there is my public profile on page 2.
I logged in to try to delete, but was immediately directed to my profile screen with requests to finish completing it. I, of course, went to the "help" section which was useless as I don't even have access to the suggested screens since I do not have a finalized account. There is no contact info, only a bot and this forum. I have sent a DM to the twitter help account, but have not received a response.
So, here I am. When I login, I have only 2 options: submit application and edit application.
I want my info deleted. please help. thank you
