Fair enough, but I wouldn't close it in your position.

Many wannabe-freelancers try to find a way into Upwork, and Upwork rejects them.

When things are confusing, either you try to solve it or you try to go away from it. That's what I'm doing here. I have trouble understanding upwork, nothing in it is making sense to me.

To close your account, please make sure that you clear any outstanding open, active or pending activity.

• Close all contracts
• Withdraw all proposals
• Ensure all payments have been received and withdrawn

By just clicking on Settings, you can see the close my account link. It's in green.
