How to Start a Solopreneurship on Upwork?

Hi everyone!

I'm a full-time freelancer on Upwork for about a year and a half now and getting to a point where I would like to hire an assistant/additional designer to help with my workload. How would I start my solopreneurship and look for an assistant through Upwork?

Likewise, a follow up questions - do I have to have an LLC to become a solopreneur?

Congratulations on your success on Upwork so far!

You can use your existing account to work as an independent freelancer, hire freelancers as a client, and create an agency if you'd like to provide services to clients as a team. Here is more information about account types.

Typically when creating an agency, the owner of that agency expects to add members to their team that they're already familiar with or have worked with before.
