How to Success a JOB?

I have excellent Excel experience especially, mining, scraping, analyzing, and along with this other specialties as well like, PDF to Word or Excel.
I have been struggling on Upwor.com for more than 1 year. I have tried all the possible procedures to impress the clients in order to grab a job, BUT in vain. Can ANYONE explain/guide me what is the BASIC formula to FIND a job?
(Formula because by sending proposals I couldn't do in 1 year, it's too much)

I think you should work on your profile. You have too many unrelated skill sets. It is possible that you have experience or training in the listed skills but you really need to come across as a specialist in one area or other related areas. Your skillset should complement each other rather than be extremely different.

From a client's perspective Book writing, Database Administration, Banner ad design, and Data Analyst are far wide and apart. And clients are always looking for an expert in the area they need services.

You should spend some time thinking about your strong skills, what skill you want to highlight on Upwork and what type of project you wish to work on Upwork.

Few Points to Consider:

- You have listed so many creative and technical skills in skill sets, but your specialized profile is that of a Data Entry.

- Your profile needs a lot of work. You should select one or two related skills and focus on how you can help the clients, talk about your past experience with those skills.

- Put up more work samples.

- Data Entry and Data Analyst are not related. I am a data analyst myself, and I do not do Data entry Projects.

If your strong skill is Excel and spreadsheet. There are so many related skills in that area put all of them in the Skills. You should consider adding skills related to Excel Chart, Dashboard, Pivot Tables, Excel Reports and so on you may not find skills I have listed here but you should try to find something that compliments each other.

Proposals:

I am sure you are stressing a lot about your "multiple" skills in your proposals. Don't do that you need to come across as a specialist in one area that you are targeting. In your proposals just highlight how you can help the client with the task they have described and the related experience you have.

Always be sure to attach relevant samples to the proposals.

I think it is a good idea to search profiles of other successful freelancers in your area of specialization and get some inspiration from their profile, DO NOT COPY THEIR PROFILE CONTENTS OR WORK SAMPLES. Just try to understand how they are showcasing their skills so you can create your unique profile.

Other experts here on the forum will also give you some tips, try following that and I am sure you will find success soon.

Best of Luck!

Hey Ashraf, a bundle of thanks for your guidance. I personally appreciated the way you have explained where I was too weak.
I must follow all of the explained procedures.
(The reason for putting all of my expertise in the Profile, I was guided to do so, to impress the clients. My basic skill is M.S Excel and I must follow it now.)

Heartily appreciated and once again thanks very much. May Allah (The Creator) bless you, amen.
